Dan’s Role

Dan works directly with businesses to identify the innovation grants best suited to their projects and organisation. He assesses their project against each programme’s specific criteria and manages their application from first draft through to submission.

Before Amplifi

Dan has been in the world of innovation grants and non-dilutive funding for over 4 years, working with companies across agri-tech, AI, construction, digital health and many more to submit applications to bodies including – but not limited to – Innovate UK, SBRI, NIHR, and EIC. Before grants, Dan worked in R&D Tax Credits for 3 years after leaving university in 2018. Dan has a degree in English Literature with History from the University of Chester.

Outside Amplifi

Dan is an avid reader of sci-fi and high fantasy fiction – particularly the Warhammer 40k universe – and enjoys playing video games and watching sports. Unfortunately, he is an Everton fan, but it has helped him build a lot of character over the last 30+ years.
